The latest software update for Galaxy A20 is rolling out OTA (Over-the-Air) with the firmware version A205U1UESBCVA1. It fixes dozens of system security and privacy-related vulnerabilities by incorporating the January 2022 security patch. Also, it adds enhancements to system security and improves system stability. Users having the US’s carrier-locked Galaxy A20 have started picking up the January update. Those who have not received it yet should manually check for new updates by navigating to Settings » Software Updates.

Galaxy A20 is an entry-level phone released back in early 2019. The device came pre-installed with Android 9 Pie. It has already received two major OS upgrades, as a result of which the Galaxy A20 is now running on Android 11 with One UI 3.1 skin at the top. [via]
