The Android 11 update for Redmi Note 8 Pro is currently rolling out in China and should start reaching other regions in the next few weeks. The new update can be identified by software version V12.5.1.0.RGGCNXM. In terms of changes, the Android 11 and MIUI 12.5 bring chat bubbles, one-time permission, permission auto reset, fast gesture response, improved battery life, a more lightweight MIUI, new animations, new system sounds, and improved performance.
