According to Samsung’s security bulletin, the November 2022 update addresses numerous of vulnerabilities in Google’s Android operating system. In addition, Samsung Mobile includes 26 patches for Samsung vulnerabilities and exposures (SVE). The November 2022 update, however, fixed just 3 Critical CVEs, 32 High CVEs, and 1 Moderate CVE. However, Samsung Galaxy handsets were specifically excluded from 15 of these. The company has also made some improvements to the user experience by fixing certain One UI SVE elements. Each month, eligible devices receive a security patch designed to address vulnerabilities in the current version and prevent unauthorised access. These fixes are a joint effort between Google and Samsung.
